Episode 12 Show Notes

HOLIDAY SANITY

Self Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself

  • Hydrate

  • Go outside, even if it’s brief. Even just getting light in your eyes is good for you.

  • Exercise, meditate (or just take deep breaths)

  • Eat decent food. A quick vegetable while you cook has fiber, vitamins, and will lower glucose spikes.

  • Make your doctor’s appointments.

  • Spend time with your family.

  • Sleep

Holiday Sanity

  • Give yourself grace. Get rid of the have-to’s and should’s

  • Plan ahead where possible

  • Eat a good breakfast (or first meal)

  • Do what’s important to you first, even if it’s a shortened version of that thing.

  • Ask for help.

  • Continue with good habits.
